Bright lights, help wanted signs

The same ones I saw last night

I have an anger inside of me

It builds up, builds in my heart

Pollutes my body with stress

Stress I never used to have

Stress I shouldn’t have

I need to find a way to rid of it

So it no longer affects me

So it stops digging inside of me

So eventually

I can be free

Free from the pain I get in my chest

Free my mind from the things I can’t change

Free it from everything

Except love

wondering why i happened when i did

to where i am now

to my life

plus some perks

a school to attend

a degree to achieve

i guess i just wish

sometimes

i wasn’t born as me
